    Hiking

If you want to spend your holiday actively in nature, you are in the right place around Auer! Without having to get into the car, you can set off on unique hiking trails directly from our house. For example, the newly built Blauburgunderweg or the hike to our “local mountain” the Castelfeder, which is worth a hike in every season. You can also hike to Aldein via the cat’s ladder. Step by step, past the waterfall and the gorge, you can enjoy impressive views of Auer and the surrounding area. Alternatively, you can hike along the old railway line to Enn Castle in Montan or Pinzon. The circular hike around the Kalterer See lake, a walk through the Frühlingstal valley or a hike through the adventurous Rastenbachklamm gorge are just a few other excursion destinations that you can reach from us in no time.

For those who prefer higher altitudes, the Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage) offer hiking tours in abundance, such as the nearby Trudner Horn Nature Park or the GEOPARC Bletterbach Canyon.

The hiking trails around Auer lead through blossoming orchards in the flat valley in spring, over high mountains and airy heights in the Dolomites in summer, through apple groves ripe for harvesting and full vineyards in autumn, and over snow-covered forest and alpine paths in winter. Lovers of vertical thrills will find challenging climbing walls, attractive Dolomite via ferratas and climbing gyms.

Throughout the Unterland there are also many hiking tours for the whole family with panoramic views.
